About the site

How do I use the site?
Hit the fandoms tab to see what fandoms are archived here. From there, you can click on the fandom to see all fics indexed in that fandom. At the right of the page, you'll find a rudimentary filtering system to sort for the types of fics you want to read.

Do you hate ao3?
No, it's a fantastic archive! It just doesn't account for a lot of fics from older fandoms.

How can I contact you?
Feel free to leave a message on this site's profile, or shoot me an email! I'm also on Reddit.

When does this site update?
If I manage to follow my schedule, once a week on Fridays.

About the fics

My fic/recommendation is on your site and I don't want it there, how can I get it removed?
Contact me and I can take care of that.

Can I get someone else's fic/recommendation removed from the site?
No.

Why do you not allow fics posted to ao3, but do allow fics posted to FanFiction.net?
The default fanfiction site now is ao3, and a lot of people refuse to use FanFiction.net. That means that even popular fics on the site can be "hidden gems". If you want to remove FanFiction.net from your search, just select all the other sources in the filtering section. This won't guarantee it was never cross-posted to FFN, but it should filter out a lot of them.

How do you choose which fics to add?
I have a massive list of every fic recced, and I add the most recced ones to the site. For Naruto, the titles alone take up 40 pages - I can't possibly add them all! (At least not efficiently without some sort of database backend, which isn't in the cards right now).

What's your policy on linking to deleted works?
As of now, no deleted fanworks will be linked to on this site. This is out of an abundance of caution and to respect the intents of the authors. This policy might change in the future.

Will you ever add fandoms that aren't anime-related?
IDK, maybe if I run out of anime fandoms. The pipeline's looking pretty full right now.

Why is the ship I want to read only indexed under "other"?
Once I get 5 fics for a ship, I add it to the filter list. Until then, I put it under "other" to keep things less cluttered. If you want to do a control/command F for the ship, it should be formatted as [name 1]/[name 2], with names in alphabetical order.

Why do you include fics with [topic]/[ship] on your site?
Regardless of how controversial or "problematic" a fic might be, it is still a part of fandom history. I do my best to warn appropriately in the Relationship or Tags section. If the ship is prevalent enough in the fandom, you should be able to exclude it by selecting all the other relationships and leaving that one unchecked. If this still makes you uncomfortable, this isn't the site for you.
