This site acts as an organized index of anime fanfics that aren't archived on ao3. It is first organized by fandom, and then by ship.

The Why

Many anime fandoms were at their peak in the early 2000s, when ao3 didn't exist. Fics were often posted to archives like AdultFanfiction or FanFiction.net, on LiveJournal communities, and on the authors' own personal sites. Many of these authors never archived their fics on ao3, meaning the vast majority of fans will never find them.

This site aims to index these fics to help fans diversify their fandom experience by looking beyond ao3 for fanworks.

The How

Fics are mainly found through reclists (hey, that's where the name comes from!). These are organized lists of fics that the writer recommends, and often are the best way to find old classic fics. A special thanks to the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine, without which many of these reclists would be lost to time.
